film genre - horror film
costume - clown wig, yellow raincoat , make up, the little boy was wearing yellow which show his innocence and the fact that he is young is also another factor that shows his innocence . the clown is wearing make up the colors of the make up is red and white . the colors red symbolises blood and anger and danger which make him look creepy the boy is wearing a yellow rain coat which symbolises innocence the reason why he is wearing a yellow raincoat is because it makes him stand out and it also shows his innocence
props  -  barriers, tent , the street, paper boat. the paper boat lead the boy to where the clown is this shows that the clown can manipulate anyone he wants and this shows what hes capable of. the barrier was a sign to show that the boy shouldn't go to where clown is and it also give the audience a warning aswell that part of the road is dangerous
setting - the street  , the sewer

mise-en-scene - in the film they use pathetic fallacy which show that the rain  foreshadows what is going to happen and the mood that is set is gloomy because of the rain and darkens , they ran out of his house in the dark and the only thing you can is his yellow rain coat which probably attracted the clown . there is also a flood outside .

setting- Is typical for the genre because in horror films everything is dark and gloomy .most horror films sta with a dark star to build up tension also in horror films they use young main character  as they are not capable of defending themselves so the fact that they are using a child as a main character is not surprising, also children are not used to playing by the rules so the fact that he was talking to a stranger led him to his death
